Welcome to our home! My husband and I bought our first house after we moved to Kansas City in May of 2012. We closed on it Aug of 2012. It's nothing fancy, and a bit of a fixer upper, but it's ours and that means it's awesome. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 small baths, a big dinner room, a living room, and most importantly a nice little kitchen, with more cabinet and counter space than I have ever had the joy of using in my own home. It also has an unfinished basement with the laundry room, a 2 car garage, and a big back deck and nice sized (though awkwardly shaped) back yard. To me it is the perfect first home. Just nice enough to have room to get something better later, but not so crappy it's unlivable. This is all about the projects and remodeling we've done with it, Either DIY or hiring someone. Though it seems our to do list never gets shorter.
