Matt and I have been engaged since Jan of 2012, when he proposed to me during a trip to Ireland we took together. This video is of him actually proposing. He got a random person to film it as it was happening, though you can't hear anything since we were too far a way and the wind was awful that day.
I know it sounds cheesy, but I feel like I can honestly say I'm marrying my best friend. I say this not only because I love being with him, but also because I don't have many girl friend and even had a hard time figuring out who my brides maids would be (I only have 2 instead of like 10 as some brides have). I always think of Matt first when somthing good or bad happens. We've been together since the summer of 2010 and I know we will be together forever. I can't wait to get married and almost just want to elope just so it can happen sooner. But having all my family and our friends be there for one of the best days of my life is really important to me. I'm not planning a huge wedding, but so long as the people I love most are there (besides Matt) I'm happy. So here are some posts about my journey towards marriage.
